Educational goals
- Business Accounting: Training Bachelors of Accounting with deep knowledge of accountancy planning and business analysis; sufficient skills to work in businesses or accountancy departments of a variety of agencies.
- Accounting and Auditing: Training Bachelors of Accounting with the ability to judge, analyse, and evaluate the financial activities of a unit; able to become an internal or an independent auditor.
- Professional level Accounting: Training non-academic Bachelors of Accounting with professional competence in accountancy; able to solve or organize the handling of issues related to accountancy in a variety of businesses (allowed to transition to the academic level)
Time of training
Under the guidance of the Boards of Trustees and of Provosts, the Department of Accounting made a rather big step forward in its educational program, reforming it following example of the well-developed programs of universities in the US, Malaysia, and Singapore. From course K12 (2006-2010) onwards, in line with the university’s general policy, the Department moved to a credit-based educational system.
